Cooperative Wool: From Fleece to Fabric, 1938
Scope and Contents
B/W - Sound - 16 mm - 00:30:00 The story of wool, beginning on the Western ranges where droves of sheep are tended by herders and their dogs. A stop is made along the trail for shearing. The film then shows the progress of the wool to market, to the great factories, and finally to the consumer. Marketing is an all-important chapter in this story. Cooperative marketing associations have been organized by wool growers to develop direct and efficient methods of selling. How these associations handle and market for their wool members is shown in detail.
