This film show briefly how conservation farming methods may prevent further destruction of the Nation's soil and water resources. It emphasizes proper land use as the basis for conservation farming. It shows how several of the most common conservation practices can be applied to the land, such as contouring, terracing, strip-cropping, covercropping, rotation, tree and grass planting and so on. Simple narration and photography. Has special appeal to both urban and rural children. Suitable for use in intermediate grades and above.
