Veterans and the Land, 1946
Scope and Contents
B/W - Sound - 16 mm - 00:20:00 By indicating how the farming industry has become increasingly as complex as any other industry; by showing that, as a business, it demands scientific knowledge and improved practices, "Veterans of the Land" warns the veteran against too rosy and optimistic a conception of "life on the soil" in the postwar world. It is suggested that the veteran serve an apprenticeship on an established farm in order to be certain that he will like it, and to gain practical experience. / A word from Gen. Omar Bradley / HangOn - GI Insurance Ad.
