Series II. Awards, 1950-1978

This series includes announcements, invitations, programs, photographs, correspondence,
and award certificates and medallions received by Alexander over the course of his
professional life. The series contains seven subseries, each comprising the information
and award related to the ceremony and award presentation. The subseries are arranged by
topic in chronological order. The material within each subseries is arranged
chronologically.

Subseries II.G. contains a letter from the Soil Science Society of America notifying
Alexander of his recognition as a fellow of the organization. The letter refers to a
certificate that is not part of the collection.
