Series II. Expeditions, 1978-1996

The materials cover Jefferson's expeditions to Europe and Asia to study cherry and crabapple trees. The expedition to Europe covers Holland, England, and Germany, while his three expeditions to Asia were to Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Correspondence, articles, photographs, programs, maps, charts, and other notes detailing the expeditions comprise this series and are arranged into two subseries: Europe Expedition and Asian Expeditions.
