Series V. Grain Quality Workshops, 1976, 1985-1986, 1989-2001

 Series — Box: 0006
Identifier: Series V.

Scope and Content Note

This series includes notes, correspondence, and minutes of the Grain Quality Workshops, originally sponsored by the National Grain and Feed Association. The workshops, begun in December 1985, were a cooperative venture by 22 organizations representing grain producers, feed developers, elevator operators, exporters and domestic users, processors and manufacturers. Their purpose was to examine and discuss current grain standards and other grain quality issues in an effort to develop consensus recommendations for improving sales of U.S. grains. The North American Export Grain Association later took over sponsorship of the workshops.
