USDA Farmers Home Administration Farm Building Plans
The USDA Farmers Home Administration Farm Building Plans include compilations of house plans and heating duct layouts. There is a series of U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) publications entitled "House Planning Aids." These small publications contain information about how to design and arrange various parts of a home.
Joseph Swab Publication Collection
The Joseph Swab Publication collection contains bibliographies, pamphlets, newsletters, and forms whose layouts were designed by Swab, primarily from 1970 to 1998. The collection also contains a select number of older materials designed by others.
USDA Agricultural Research Service Biological Control Center Reference Files
The USDA Agricultural Research Service Biological Control Center Reference Files are unprocessed reference materials used by the Biological Control Center staff when the center was located at the USDA National Agricultural Library. There are 138 linear feet of books and 110 linear feet of files, which contain papers, clippings, and reprints.

The program served to reintroduce and monitor the progress of various species of chestnut trees following the introduction of Cryphonectria parasitica, or chestnut blight, from East Asia to North America and Europe in the early 1900s.

Rudolph Wendelin Collection of Smokey Bear Paintings
The Rudolph Wendelin Collection of Smokey Bear Paintings consists of 19 original oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings by former U.S. Forest Service artist Rudolph "Rudy" Wendelin. The paintings depict various scenes featuring the fictional character Smokey Bear, symbol of the Forest Service's wildfire prevention campaign.
Ronald Fayer Papers
The Ronald Fayer Papers consist primarily of reprints of over 400 published research papers, book chapters, and abstracts authored or co-authored by Fayer. Other materials in the collection include copies of patents awarded to Fayer, news clippings about his research on sarcocystis, and awards. There is also an undated, large format aerial photograph of the Animal Parasite Institute buildings at the Beltsville (Maryland) Agricultural Research Center.
