Organizational History

The Agricultural Relations Council (ARC) was founded in December 1953 as a national professional association for practitioners of agricultural public relations. ARC conceived and organized the first U.S. Agricultural Communicators' Congress (USACC) in Washington, D.C., held in June 1984, and has coordinated a similar national program every four years since.
