USDA Buildings Architectural Drawings Collection
Content Description
The USDA Buildings Architectural Drawings Collection (circa 1920) consists of plans for U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) buildings, specifically the administration building, laboratory buildings, and a view of the National Mall area in Washington, D.C. There are eight architects' drawings mounted on pasteboard, which were made by the architectural firm Raukin, Kellogg, and Crane, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The buildings were planned to be located on the north portion of the grounds at that time, and conformed to the plan of the Commission on the Improvement of the Park System.
