A handwritten account book of Smith Starkey of Guilford, Vermont. He did blacksmithing and also owned a general store, that sold agricultural products. The account book consists of the names of his clients and the work that had been done for them, how much they owed him, and what type of payment received: e.g. cash. The ledger is in alphabetical order.
