Content Description

The Cam Calvert Papers consist of publications, reviewed manuscript drafts with associated data, international cooperation notes and projects, and other materials collected by Calvert during his career. A number of non-ruminant animal studies are included.

Biographical Sketch

C. C. “Cam” Calvert (1930-2016) was a poultry research scientist for the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). After serving with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Purdue University, and his Ph.D. from Cornell University. He retired from USDA in 1990.
