The USDA Agricultural Research Service Biological Control Center Records contain materials relating to biological control research conducted within the branches and divisions of the Agricultural Research Service (ARS). Materials include correspondence, unpublished reports, research reports, grant applications, publications, shipping records, databases, photographs, and videotapes. Materials from closed international laboratories are also included.

The USDA Agricultural Research Service Biological Control Center Reference Files are unprocessed reference materials used by the Biological Control Center staff when the center was located at the USDA National Agricultural Library. There are 138 linear feet of books and 110 linear feet of files, which contain papers, clippings, and reprints.

The USDA Agricultural Research Service Photographs of Poultry and Livestock contain 26 albums with photographs of poultry, sheep, swine, cattle, and other livestock. Grouped by subject, many of the photographs were taken at the Beltsville (Maryland) Agricultural Research Center between 1906 and 1950. The bulk of the photographs are from 1910 to 1935. The albums also include lithographs from the mid-19th century.
