Subseries II.C. contains materials relating to Alexander receiving an honorary doctor of laws from the University of Arkansas. Included in this subseries are event programs, the original degree with copies as well as the original commendation and citation with copies, a photograph of the ceremony, a handwritten copy of an address given by Alexander during a dinner for the awardees, and congratulatory correspondence.
