Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series:

This subseries includes 16mm and 35mm motion picture film reels. Some are black-and-white and some are in color. While most include sound, a few are silent. This subseries also includes video recordings on both VHS and U-matic tapes as well as DVD format.

Physical Description

Boxes 53-56 consist of 12 U-matic videocassette tapes. According to the labels on the tapes, video content includes footage such as news features on the passing of Smokey Bear, Smokey Bear parades, PSAs, and the "Fifty Years with Smokey Bear" video.
