The Karl E. Biographical Sketch

Karl E. Gardner (b. 1913) served on the Interdepartmental Committee on Nutrition for the National Defense (ICNND). The ICNND, a subdivision of the National Research Council, U.S. National Library of Medicine, conducted nutrition studies in more than 20 countries from 1956 to 1969.
