Biographical Sketch
Charles E. North (1869-1961), a physician, public health officer, inventor, and agricultural scientist, was a pioneer in the dairy industry and a leader in gaining public acceptance of milk pasteurization laws. North invented processes and devices for applications in milk production. He also wrote many articles and reports related to the development of the dairy industry.
