Content Description
The Poultryman and Poultry Times Newspaper Photograph Collection contains black and white negatives taken by the staff of Poultry Times, a weekly newspaper from Gainesville, Georgia, (1956-1985) and the Poultryman, a weekly newspaper from Vineland, New Jersey (1956-1969). Included are negatives of state poultry associations' personnel and functions, universities' personnel, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and other organizations' personnel and events, and poultry-related commercial firms' personnel and products. None are identified according to which publication was responsible for the negatives. The negatives are arranged chronologically by year. The collection also contains a portrait file from the Poultry Times.
