William McLeod Rivera Papers

William McLeod Rivera is an associate professor in the College of Agricultural and Natural Sciences at the University of Maryland. His subject area of expertise is agriculture extension education. Throughout his career, he has worked around the world consulting on projects and programs related to adult and agricultural extension education. These projects have ranged from formulating curricula for educational institutions to developing extension programs for rural farmers. He has worked under such organizations as the United Nations, World Education, Inc., the World Bank, and the U.S. Agency for International Development. Rivera has written two books, edited several other books, and written many articles in adult and agricultural extension education books and journals.
