Scope and Contents

A video produced by the National Wildfire Coordinating Group, narrated by Dick Winn. The video discusses four different examples of effective fire prevention strategies. The first example features a bloodhound dog used for arson tracking by the Virginia Department of Forestry. The second example is the Florida Division of Forestry's Florida Fire Reduction Initiative. The Fort Myers Police Department "Safety Clowns" are also featured. The third example discusses efforts of multiple agencies working together in Sacramento, California. The fourth example discusses the Jackson County fair in southern Oregon and the role of Smokey and "Smokey's Playland."
